The Cyborg Superman’s tampering of Brother Satellite Grid has triggered – in Satellite I – a form of sentient artificial intelligence. The newly life form has decided that he must fulfill his role and finish what the Justice Lords started. He has taken information on Cadmus Project files and Metapower Projects of Lexcorp and created the OMAC Virus to produce an army of OMACs on the unsuspected 1,373,462 ex-employees of Lexcorp.

The nanotechnology virus known as OMAC Virus can be shot using an energy beam and it delivers the nanites to the target and turns it into an OMAC. The beam is shot by Brother Eye but he can also hack into other satellite and shot the beam.

Brother Eye is actually Brother Satellite Grid Unit I form the Brother Satellite Grid project.

2009: During the events known as The Eye in the Sky Part I and The Eye in the Sky Part II, after trying to destroy all metahumans on planet Earth, Brother Eye was destroyed by Green Lantern and control over the Brother Satellite Grid was restored by Cyborg. The Atom reported to the Justice Lords that the satellite was trying to fulfill the Justice Lords‘s mission to "to protect all of Earth’s citizens" and he was instead of a villain a “number one fan”.
Lord Green Lantern reported that the missing Super Dragon Soldier and ICBM belonging to Kobra Cult were found in the hands of Brother Eye who was learning about metahumans with the clone and using the missile as a power source.
